A QUICK LOOK AT KNOCKOUT™ & HOW IT IS PLAYED
1 – Divide your class into 2 single file lines
2 – Display the first slide
3 – The player at the front of his/her line faces off against the player from the other team: the first player to answer his/her question correctly wins and returns to the end of the line!
(An example slide might show ’10 more than 81′ on the left side and ‘1
4 – The player who does not win goes to sit on the team “bench” to cheer on the team!
✋ BUT WAIT: That’s not all.
If a player faces these slides, the following could happen:
✅ Double Free Pass: Both players automatically get to stay in the game!
✅ Double Knockout™: Both players are automatically out!

✅ Pick a Pal: Choose a player from the bench to return to the game!

◼️HERE’S WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT KNOCKOUT◼️
My students love Knock Out – so much that they beg to play it. This game is quck and fast moving and works great for a quick practice/review before beginning a math lesson. It also works well to finish a math lesson. This is a great resource!

I don’t think there’s any game my kids love more than knockout. They love any and all versions and are so motivated. This is the case every single year! The cheers and excitement that lets loose in my room when I announce we’re going to play knockout is awesome!

My kids are obsessed! They ask to play it constantly. Even though we have moved on now from our place value unit, it serves as a fun and engaging review that the kids get excited for!
