This interactive poetry notebook for January contains original poems covering Martin Luther King, Jr., Chinese New Year, New Years Eve, Penguins, and Setting Goals with activities that are perfect for your January poetry station!

Each week, students will read, explore, and celebrate a different poem through activities that reinforce sight words, reading strategies, concepts of print, rhyming, word families, etc.
Students will glue the poem into their notebook, and engage in a variety of pre-, and post-reading activities all week long!
